Francesco Mazzi

Chef Francesco Mazzi was born in one of the most important maritime spot in Northern Italy,La Spezia. From a young age of just 15,he travelled to the United States,in California Los Angeles where he started his culinary apprenticeship and showed a remarkable passion and talent for preparing Italian food. Having returned to his native Italy to successfully complete his studies in economics,Francesco was determined to follow his dream of becoming a professional chef. He worked his way through the top restaurants close to his home,mastering the basics of his trade,the local gastronomy and developing his own distinctive style. It was this style that led to him returning to the United States after being hired as a Chef de Partie at the most acclaimed Italian restaurants in Los Angeles.. Following on from this experience,Francesco was picked up by a wealthy Los Angeles family as a private chef and went on to cater for numerous high profile Hollywood business people and celebrities who were consistently impressed by his culinary creations.After the American experience Francesco returned to Europe working his way through Michelin starred kitchens,along with other top restaurants in Europe.

During this time,he was exposed to numerous cutting edge techniques and methods of preparation and presentation.
Francesco was soon approached to become Executive Chef at the world renowned 5 star resort of Borgo La Bagnaia in the beautiful Tuscan city of Siena.

Here he stayed for 3 years honing his skills as a chef and as a leader.

Following this,Francesco got his first big break in Asia

when he was employed by one of Italy’s most famous restaurants

the 3 Michelin star Enoteca Pincchiori, as Advisory chef to their branch in Tokyo,Japan.
Few years later he become the Executive Chef at the Armani Ristorante in Tokyo,supervising all the culinary operations in Japan.

To his credit also teaching courses as a professor at prestigious private cooking institutes in Tokyo.
In autumn 2019 after almost 10 years he quitted his position of Executive Chef Giorgio Armani Japan.

He was also present in Dubai for consultancy at the Bice Mare restaurant.
In Jannuary 2020 he opened his own new luxury art company,Mazzi Fine Art,where despite creating world acclaimed new artworks

he also offer refined fine dining experiences for selected customers in the beauty of his art gallery.
