Deep within the forest, an invisible presence flows through the air—the quiet essence of life itself.
Il Respiro del Bosco (The Breath of the Forest) does not simply depict trees, but captures the moment when the entire forest seems to breathe as a single living organism.
From cool silver-white and blue light to gold, brown, and profound black, the colors dissolve into one another without distinct boundaries, enveloping the forest like mist, light, and air.
Across the trunks and branches of trees standing in countless layers, intricate lines and forms are engraved through MAZZI’s original bas-relief technique. These markings resemble “the codes of nature,” as though they have been preserved within the forest since ancient times.
They evoke the Celtic traditions that once flourished in Europe's ancient woodlands, the reverence for nature, and the memory of an era when humanity and the forest were deeply connected. Traces of this heritage seem to dwell silently within every tree.
Light and darkness, cold and warmth, past and present—all merge within the forest, continuously flowing and transforming, giving rise to new life.
The memory and vitality of the forest, quietly breathing within the stillness.
An artwork that reveals this invisible “breath” through light, color, and the intricate codes engraved into the trees.
