Amore di Papaveri (Poppy Love) is a work inspired by the reunion of lovers in summer, portraying passionate love unfolding among fields of blooming poppies and golden wheat.
Through the encounter of two beings that would ordinarily never be expected to unite, the work conveys the message that what appears impossible can become possible through the discovery of a new principle.
At MAZZI FINE ART, art, science, and philosophy are brought together to explore new perspectives and the limitless possibilities of creation. This work embodies that creative philosophy.
The vibrant palette of orange, yellow, and deep crimson celebrates the vitality of summer and the intensity of passionate love. Brilliant red poppies and golden wheat fields create a warm, abundant landscape filled with life and hope.
At the centre of the composition, a tiny ant and a caterpillar experience a fateful encounter. This symbolic moment represents the beginning of love, expressed through the phrase:
"This is how our love began."
Although they are entirely different beings, they share affection and joy, expressing a vision of a world where diversity is embraced and happiness is created together.
The unexpected pairing of these two creatures also symbolises a new canon—a new principle that transcends conventional values and fixed ideas. It expresses the distinctive philosophy of MAZZI FINE ART: that what is considered impossible can become possible through the discovery of new laws of creation.
Every colour within the work carries symbolic meaning:
- Red represents passion.
- Gold symbolises eternity.
- Purple signifies the union of opposites.
- Green represents hope for love.
