Inspiration behind the Opera: The great wave of the master Hokusai, the feminine nature and Japanese symbolism
Characteristics of the work: A large wave in the foreground dominates the scene and contrasts with a red butterfly positioned above Mount Fuji, as if to represent the sun, the golden background infuses a radiant light, capable of transmitting heat and dynamism.
Artist's comments: An impestuous bubbling wave testifies to the ecstasy of the act of love, between the femininity of the flight of a butterfly, which contrasts with the virility of Mount Fuji. The true protagonist of the work is the figure feminine and its references are many, the marine curves, the red safflower color derived from flowers symbol of strength and power used by women in ancient times, the duality of the figure of the butterfly representing the sun, like the goddess Amaterasu in Japanese culture

Art enriches life and its ultimate function is to make people happier.
`` Be inspired by myths and legends to create objects with their own memory and strength ''
