Materials used: Oil painting on 30x30x6.3cm canvas panel, 24K gold, silver, textural/structuring pastes, resin-based paints. Frame made with Yoshino cedar wood and Italian stones. The finish was done with Italian paints and the colors were created in shades of aged steel; the sash band measures about 6cm, the sash size about 42x42cm
Artist's comments: This work is dedicated to orchids, which in Japanese culture stands for purity and innocence.
