Pontremoli The new "Mazzi Fine Art Gallery" was inaugurated yesterday morning in via Ricci Armani.
A ribbon cutting which featured the mayor of Pontremoli, Jacopo Ferri, the deputy mayor, Clara Cavellini,
the mayor of Bagnone, Giovanni Guastalli,
and the artist Francesco Mazzi, in addition to the numerous people present at the event.
In this new gallery it will therefore be possible to admire Mazzi's works which represent a new three-dimensional concept of total art,
works created through his patent, a stage where Nature is the protagonist in the miracle of shapes and colours,
an alchemy of all-round painting 'oil mixed with precious pigments.
This is a unique patent, a framing technique called "3D frame push-up", which shows the canvas outside the frame.
This method enhances the three-dimensionality and presence of the work, creating a harmonious fusion with the surrounding space.
Blending Western and Eastern cultures, Mazzi aims to promote peace and deep respect through his work.
«We are really happy with the inauguration of this exhibition, the mayor underlined,
also because it sees the return of a son of Lunigiana who, after having had success all over the world,
decides to return to his land of origin to give prestige to this territory through beauty of art."
